New Entertainment Complex ‘THEBlvd’ Lands Just South of The Strand
Regular visitors to The Strand Resort on the Myrtle Beach oceanfront know that the resort and its surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for having some good times on the Carolina coast. And the list of nearby hotspots has gotten even longer in 2018, as new entertainment complex THEBlvd is bringing a live-music venue, a familiar Mexican restaurant, a well-known coffee shop, a modern burger joint and more to North Ocean Boulevard — and a spot located less than a mile south of the resort.
Check out these exciting new businesses either already in place or set to take up residence at THEBlvd — a three-story, a 55,000-square-foot entertainment complex located a block north of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk’s northern terminus and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean:
Tin Roof: With the tagline “A Live Music Joint,” this Nashville-based entertainment venue is bringing live music and DJs to its separate stages nightly. When revelers want to take a break from the music to grab some fresh air, Atlantic Ocean views, and sea breezes, they can head to the open-air patio that divides the third-floor venue’s live-music room from its dance-focused Green Room. And when hunger sets in, a menu of made-from-scratch, Southern-inspired “Better Than Bar Food” items are available. For more info, visit tinroofmyrtlebeach.com.
Banditos: This local favorite Mexican restaurant, which closed when construction on THEBlvd started, will soon return to its former home. Get ready for the same tacos, burritos, fajitas, margaritas and other Mexican fares you grew to love at the original banditos venue — all served in a brand-new facility with the same great Atlantic Ocean views. Follow the restaurant’s Facebook page for the latest news and developments.
Starbucks: This famed Seattle-based coffeehouse chain will now serve its freshly brewed coffee, cold brews, espressos, Frappuccinos, tea drinks, smoothies and more with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Of course, hungry diners can also choose from a selection of baked goods, sandwiches, yogurts and more. See all the food and beverage options at starbucks.com.
BurgerFi: This gourmet burger joint uses fresh, natural ingredients to take its bun-bound offerings up a notch. Examples of popular entrees include the CEO burger featuring a pair of Wagyu and brisket-blend patties topped with candied bacon-tomato jam, truffle aioli, and aged Swiss cheese, and the Conflicted Burger with an Angus beef patty and a veggie patty, all topped with American and white cheddar cheeses, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi Sauce. Round out your meal with hand-cut french fries, double-battered onion rings, and an array of craft beer and wine choices. See the full menu at burgerfi.com.
A general store and additional tenants are also planned for THEBlvd, whose property will feature a small public park on its north side.
Whether you’re looking for live music, a delicious meal or a pick-me-up, THEBlvd can accommodate.
