Tips for Eating Ice Cream
Crazy, right? I mean, who needs advice on enjoying ice cream? There is a better way of doing things.
- Start at the top
It’s inadvisable to begin your cone-eating from the base! One bite from the bottom of the cone, and you have a mess on your hands. And your clothes. If you do it right, you’ll end up with a tiny cone as your last bite.
- If you’re fancy …
Did you know it’s proper to eat cake and ice cream with both a fork and spoon? That feels like a lot. You’re supposed to hold the cake with a fork, and cut and lift each bite to your mouth with the spoon. (We’re in favor of freestyling any type of ice cream.)
- Lick, don’t bite
It’s the toughest rule of all. Especially with soft-serve, all it takes is licking. The best ice cream tempts us to bite. But you risk brain freeze if you do!
