Here Are Some of Myrtle Beach’s Favorite Places for Ice Cream

A favorite ice cream parlor is a gem to treasure.

Especially during the summer months on the Grand Strand. Through extensive research and taste-testing, we’ve compiled a list of the best. Someone had to do it!

Visit these places for some of the most unforgettable desserts ever. But first …

Tips for Eating Ice Cream

Crazy, right? I mean, who needs advice on enjoying ice cream? There is a better way of doing things.

  1. Start at the top

It’s inadvisable to begin your cone-eating from the base! One bite from the bottom of the cone, and you have a mess on your hands. And your clothes. If you do it right, you’ll end up with a tiny cone as your last bite.

  1. If you’re fancy …

Did you know it’s proper to eat cake and ice cream with both a fork and spoon? That feels like a lot. You’re supposed to hold the cake with a fork, and cut and lift each bite to your mouth with the spoon. (We’re in favor of freestyling any type of ice cream.)

  1. Lick, don’t bite

It’s the toughest rule of all. Especially with soft-serve, all it takes is licking. The best ice cream tempts us to bite. But you risk brain freeze if you do!
