With several legendary entertainment venues, there’s never a dull moment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You can catch big names and see buzzworthy acts at the House of Blues. Then there’s The Bowery, the oldest bar on the Grand Strand and the birthplace of the iconic country music group Alabama. And, The Boathouse offers an unforgettable outdoor music experience on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Soon enough, music fans and partygoers will have another location to let loose and have a great time in Myrtle Beach. Tin Roof, one of Nashville’s hottest honky tonk bars and music venues, is opening a new location in Myrtle Beach in April of 2018. So pack your best plaid shirts and your favorite pair of cowboy boots, and book a room or condo at The Strand Resort. This way, you’ll be a short Uber ride away from a great night, and you’ll have plenty of fun things to do during the day.

The Strand has plenty of space for you and your friends to relax and live your best life. The palm tree-lined oceanfront pool deck and tanning lawn are the perfect spots to soak up the sun and snap some vacay pics. If you need to cool off, just take a dip in the pool or head out to the beach. The Strand really does have everything under the sun, including great on-site food and drink options. You can enjoy a free breakfast at The Market Restaurant or drinks at The Strand Bar.

So, what kind of experience can you expect at Tin Roof? Since 2002, the original Tin Roof has supplied Nashville with an eclectic environment complete with live music, tasty food and delicious drinks. Now, the magic will be re-created in Myrtle Beach. Tin Roof will be part of a new dining and entertainment complex opening soon called the Beach Club. It will overlook the iconic Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and provide both locals and vacationers with an endless supply of good times. Tin Roof will have the entire third floor to itself, while Papa’s Raw Bar will serve up quality seafood on the second-floor rooftop patio.

As the finishing touches are put on the Beach Club, keep an eye out for Tin Roof to announce lineups for live concerts. In the meantime, you can get a head start on securing the perfect accommodations at The Strand Resort. After a night of live music and hanging out with your friends, there’s nothing better than taking it easy as you take in views of the Atlantic Ocean. And while The Strand may have a premium feel to it, the lavish vibe is not reflected in the pricing. Book sooner rather than later to get the best prices this spring and summer.
