Is there a better way to set the scene for a great summer than by hitting the beach with thousands of friends and fellow country music fans for a star-studded music festival – with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop? While this may sound like the stuff of a music lover’s dreams, it’s exactly what’s on tap for June 7-10, 2018, on the oceanfront in Myrtle Beach – The Strand Resort is a short distance north and a great place to stay for the CCMF.

Returning for its fourth year in 2018, the Carolina Country Music Fest – the Eastern Seaboard’s largest three-day outdoor country music festival – is centered around two great American traditions: country music and fun at the beach. The festival will feature more than 30 of the biggest names in country music, and the headliners will include superstars like Cole Swindell, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan! Stay tuned, as even more big names will be announced soon.

To make the festival and a summer-opening beach getaway even more enticing, Long Bay Resort is offering up to 40 percent off its oceanfront accommodations and long list of amenities, plus discounted CCMF tickets. Altogether, it makes for a perfect way to kick off your summer and a great place to spend your free time before and after the shows. Held at the former site of the Myrtle Beach Pavilion amusement park – on a parcel of land featuring 18 coastal acres stretching from North Kings Highway to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk – the Carolina Country Music Fest delivers three full days of live music on three separate stages, VIP areas, an array of vendor booths and concession stands, and more. Thrill-seeking concertgoers can even ride the on-site zip line, and the festival’s laid-back, oceanfront vibe lends itself perfectly to kicking back on a beach blanket, sipping a cold beverage or two, and enjoying live sets from your favorite country music acts.

Guests at Long Bay Resort on the Myrtle Beach oceanfront can take the 10-minute cab ride to the venue, or catch a shuttle to and from the festival grounds before and after the shows. Before heading out to the main event (and upon return after the concerts), guests can relax in our clean and comfortable rooms, splash around in our expansive indoor and outdoor pool facilities, or hit the Silly Sub Water Park with the kids. Once they’ve worked up an appetite or a thirst, guests can head for the on-site Martin’s Restaurant, Oceanview Café, Tiki Bar or Starbucks. Of course, the resort’s stretch of white-sand beach is right out the back door, and more great dining and shopping options are within easy walking distance of Long Bay Resort.

The CCMF festivities will open with the McDonald’s Kick-Off Concert on Thursday, June 7, at 6 p.m., then things really get into high gear with three full days of music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 8-10. Live performances run from 1 to 11:30 p.m. on the three festival stages on all three full festival days. Attendees can purchase general-admission and VIP passes for admission, and fans are encouraged to bring beach blankets for seating. Learn more about the CCMF at carolinacountrymusicfest.com.
