Romance in the Gardens

Each year, brides and grooms re-commit to one another at the Romance in the Gardens vow renewal ceremony on Valentine’s Day at Brookgreen Gardens.

Two non-denominational ceremonies — held at 1 and 3:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day — will be at the boat landing at Brookgreen Creek with a reception to follow at the Leonard Pavilion. Greg Rowles will officiate, and entertainment will be provided by Paul Grimshaw.

Each couple will receive a personalized certificate, professional photograph, and an individual box of goodies. A Southern cake reception including champagne will be held after each ceremony. Brides will also receive a mini bouquet of flowers while grooms will receive a boutonniere.

The ceremony is not a wedding ceremony, and is only open to couples who are already married.

Cost is $50 for non-members and $45 for members.
