Myrtle Beach has tons of actives to enjoy. Don’t forget to check out the Grand Strand’s fireworks shows. They begin in April and continue through Labor Day weekend. Here, we’ve put together a list of the largest weekly fireworks shows along the Grand Strand. Of course, if you’d like opinions or need directions while you’re here, please ask your friendly staff at The Strand Resort. We know our fireworks shows!

Second Avenue Pier: This location has some of the best restaurants, hotels, and of course, Family Kingdom Amusement Park. The firework show will be set off on the pier, however, you will be able to see them from blocks away in both directions. What could be a better family event then watching a delightful firework show over the ocean? The fireworks are launched from 2nd Avenue Pier on Wednesday evenings at 10 p.m. from the second weekend in June through the middle of August. When you are staying with us, please do not hesitate to ask staff members for confirmation of dates and times.

Broadway at the Beach: This shopping/entertainment complex has an endless stream of restaurants, shops, and fun. Not to mention a movie theater, mini golf and Ripley’s Aquarium. With everything you can do, you will want to get to Broadway at the Beach early. To end the prefect day of shopping and fun, don’t miss the firework show. Beginning in early June and running through early September, there will be fireworks shows over Lake Broadway most Tuesday and Friday evenings at 10 p.m. After the summer holidays, you will find fireworks shows on Halloween, Thanksgiving weekend, the first Saturday in December and, of course, on New Year’s Eve. For more information about the Broadway at the Beach fireworks shows, visit www.broadwayatthebeach.com.

Barefoot Landing: Similar to the shows at Broadway, you are going to want to arrive long before the fireworks show to make an event of your evening at this shopping/entertainment complex. The firework show starts Monday evenings between June 5th and August 28th at 9pm! They also have a bonus show on the 4th of July. There is so much to do and see here that you will want to make time for it all. So come early for easy parking and avoid that rush to better enjoy your evening. Now that you’re in the know regarding Myrtle Beach’s summer fireworks displays, you just have to decide which night and location works best for you. Please remember while here at the beach that while you might find many area stores that sell fireworks, it is against the law to set them off in the city of Myrtle Beach. Leave that to the professionals. And if you would like our suggestions on fireworks shows or any other attractions while you are here with us at The Strand Resort, we are always happy to help. Enjoy your vacation and the show!
