Hold on to your cowboy hats … the big one is coming. Country music fans in Myrtle Beach and beyond have good reason to click their booted heels, as the inaugural Carolina Country Music Fest is coming HERE, to Myrtle Beach, June 5-7. The three-day Myrtle Beach festival on the beach will feature Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Big & Rich and more. Yes, more. Who could possibly add to that? Oh, you’ll see soon enough. New acts, over 30 in total, will be announced weekly. Just picture it: toes in the sand, wind in your hair, and the sounds of your own cheers along with some of the most popular acts in the music world today. Somehow they’ve made coming to Myrtle Beach even more of a must-do. Early bird promotions have ended, however tickets are still available. Three-day pass general admission will run $189. Main Stage passes are $299 and include VIP access to private main stage area, entrance, cash bar and restrooms, but there are no seat assignments as these are standing room only tickets. Three-day Super VIP passes ensure the ultimate access and experience with stage-level viewing, VIP entrance, private bathrooms, and food and drink included for $999. Fees apply to all packages, and tickets are nonrefundable. Kids under 10 are free when accompanied by an adult. Single day passes are not available at this time. The festival runs from noon to 11:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the schedule has yet to be determined. Wristbands will be provided at the gate in exchange for your ticket, and ensure you can come and go all weekend. Rain or shine, the show goes on so be sure to check the forecast closer to the event and dress accordingly. Cell phones, personal cameras, towels and flags without poles are welcome. Outside food and drink are prohibited, as are firearms, fireworks, tents and umbrellas and chairs, and animals — unless they’re service animals. See the website for more information. Hotel discounts are forthcoming, and the exact beach location can be found at 812 N. Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, which is between 8th and 9th Avenues and is just south of the SkyWheel.
